Plot summary:
The great story of our country. About the people and forces that shaped it - from the Ice Age to the present day. Simon J Berger is the narrator of the series. The program series consists of ten parts and is based on reconstructions of historical events and people.
The drama documentary has been recorded in 200 locations around Sweden over a period of 1.5 years. In total, upwards of 300 experts have helped with the factual work - and according to SVT, 100 of these participate in the series. At the same time, as many as 1,500 extras have also been involved in the television project, in order to be able to reconstruct historical events and people.
